History knows that people express their feelings in different manner like storey telling, autobiography, biography and poetic form. But as you see in Dalit Literature you find their is scarcity of each topics. It might has several reasons like, -
1.People are not much qualified.
2.There is lack of capability in them. Or
3. No existence of intellectual.
But suddenly you found about the Mahatma Phule, Dr B.R.Ambedkar etc. And you realise something very scary is happening, and then If you go in details then you know people are enemy of dalits they don't even treat them like human being, So they tried to downgrade the power of Dalits. As I say - If you want to erase life of people then erase their history, which is the moto behind it. Just erase their history.
About the BookA poetic narrative of dalit atrocities is painfully written by Omprakash Valmiki. This is pain of people which they face from centuries.
This is struggle of people which in time being taken the shape of a book. When you go through this book you find discrimination and intolerance in the society which is core of Valmiki writing.

A Collection of stories by Omprakash Valmiki that deals with the different types of challenges face by the dalit community.
In Maharashtra last year a girl name
Dr. Payal Tadvi committed a suicide, due to over ragging and caste based discrimination by her colleagues. This is shocking for the whole dalit community. Earlier, we have seen a Bengaluru based scholar Rohit Vemula which also commit suicide due to similar issues. This chain of incident in India is frequently seen. After so many years of India's Independence people will not understand the need of reservations and in which terms this affirmative action is provided. This whole acclaim educated society is not even understand the basic of equality and humanity.
